Welcome to SCRDC

The Settle-Carlisle Railway Development Company was formed in 1992 as limited by guarantee, not for profit partnership to encourage sustainable commercial development.

The Company has moved from strength to strength and is now involved with in a number of areas including porvision of staff in the booking offices at Settle and Appleby, the refreshment trolley service on the trains and the promotion of both the Settle-Carlisle line and the route between Leeds, Lancaster and Morecambe.

  • Dales Railcard Scheme

    Great Savings - now only £12

    This is a great scheme! If you live in postcode areas bounding the Settle-Carlisle line or Bentham line, you can purchase a Dales Railcard which costs only £12.00 per person, is valid for 12 months and provides savings of 1/3 on the cost of tickets within a specified area.
